30 march. Workshop: Transcribing Oral Testimonies with Automatic Speech Recognition.

Next 30th march at 5pm CEST we will hold the workshop “Transcribing Oral Testimonies with Automatic Speech Recognition.”

The event is part of the activities of the Avalanche project, and you are very welcome to join if you are interested. The session will offer a practical introduction to the use of ASR for transcribing oral history testimonies, with a live demonstration in Google Colab using OpenAI’s Whisper model. It will also be a chance to discuss both the potential and the current limitations of these tools.
