As every year, the Mubat Association organizes an event on the occasion of the International Holocaust Remembrance Day. This year, the meeting was held at the Municipality of Battipaglia, in the “Salotto Comunale”, the space that the city dedicates to cultural events.
Five local schools took part in the initiative, with the participation of more than one hundred students. As is always the case with events organized by the Mubat Association, the involvement and active participation of the students were particularly significant.
The participation of boys and girls is not limited to listening, but actively involves students in the construction of the event through different forms of expression, including singing, reading, and dance.
The event was opened by the Mayor and presented by Carmen Picciariello.
The event concluded with a speech by the President of the Mubat Association, who retraced the tragic key dates of the persecution of Jews in Italy and Europe, recalling the close connection with the Allied landing in Salerno (Operation Avalanche).
The students, deeply engaged with the topic, asked numerous questions to Dr. Carlo Bruno.
